JustRight Scotland have done fantastic work since being founded in 2017. Working with people who would otherwise not be represented, JustRight Scotland’s used “collaborative social justice” to describe the work that their team of lawyers did. A serendipitous discussion with the leadership of JustRight Scotland revealed that “collaborative social justice” was not serving the organisation well, not least because the meaning of this phrase means something different to the lawyers who wrote it than it does to the audiences who see it, whether clients or partner agencies.
